Welcome to Bentwood Elementary School- home of the Blue Jays! Bentwood is one of 32 elementary schools in the Olathe District Schools. Bentwood opened in 1996 and is entering its 12 th year. I have had the honor of being Bentwood's principal since 1999 and look forward to my 9 th year at this wonderful place. Our school is comprised of fantastic students, terrific parents and a super staff. It is a great place to work!

Bentwood has an enrollment of 532 students with 4 kindergartens, 4 first grades, 4 second grades, 3 third grades, 5 fourth grades, 4 fifth grades and 4 sixth grades. We join the Bentwood PTA in this year's theme- Making Our Mark in the World.
