Ongoing – 21st Century Academies Interviews
November 1st – Program Planning Guide delivered to schools and available online
November 30th  – 21st Century Applications closes at 10pm
The deadline has been extended one week.

December
Ongoing – 21st Century Academies Interviews
December 7th – 21st Century Applications closes at 10pm

January
Ongoing – 21st Century Academies Interviews
January 14th – Academy Invitation notification placed in US mail after 3:30pm
January 15th – Academy Invitation notification sent via email to both students and parents after 3:30pm
January 28-29 – Counselors visit Middle schools for enrollment
January 30th – 8th grade HS transition day – students visit their HS during school day
January 31st – 8th grade HS Enrollment Night Parent Meeting – all HS’s

February
February 7th – 8th Grade Enrollment finalized

September & October
High School Options Presentations to the 8th grade students during the day
High School Options Presentations to the 8th grade parents during the evening – any parent can attend any schools evening presentation.

October 23rd – 8th Grade Career Expo – all day
October 24th – 21st Century Application link goes live at 8am  -interviews begin being scheduled

BIOengineering Academy – Olathe South High School
Annual Showcase Night
Monday, November 19th from 6-7PM,
Come see what these academy students are working on.

Computer Science Academy – Olathe South High School
Thursday, November 29th from 6:30-8pm
Annual Fall Presentations – Cyber security and AP Computer Science students will present their research projects
Students will deliver their presentations in “Gallery Walk” style.  Students will be stationed around the Olathe South Commons with their presentations.  You are invited to come and go at your convenience.

Geoscience, Medical Professions, and Sports Medicine & Exercise Science Academies – Olathe North High School
Annual Winter Senior Capstone Presentations
Thursday, November 29th beginning at 6pm
Students in these academies will present either their progress in their capstone or the culmination of their 1st Semester Capstone.
