ONW splits doubleheader against SME and SMNW

The Olathe Northwest Baseball team went up against the Lancers of Shawnee Mission East Thursday looking to improve on their 4-2 record. Drake Seetin got the start and threw three and two-thirds innings allowing nine runs, including a grand-slam from junior Noah Settle, seven hits and striking out two, while Logan Alexander came in for relief for one and a third innings allowing two runs on three hits. Nate Niceswanger got the save with a inning and two-thirds pitched with two strikeouts. The Ravens bats popped with 10 hits in the game. Wyatt Morgan had a clutch hit in the top of the first scoring two runs. The Ravens then added two more in the third and finally in the top of the seventh scoring three runs. Player of the game went to shortstop Brady Slavens who went four for four. The Ravens won the game 7-3 and improving their record to 5-3.
