  • Congratulations

The Olathe South math team continued their excellent season by winning the Washburn University Math Day contest on Wednesday, November 17. The individual scores of Andrew Fales, Camella Carlson and Rachel Li paced the Falcons to a 92-83 victory over the 2nd place Topeka Washburn Rural team as well as the other 20 teams that participated. Fales finished as the top overall individual scorer in the competition. The other 7 Falcons (Carlson, Li, Carley Eschliman, Joy Chang, Lynae Carlson, Nick Hinman and Patrick Grey) finished as honorable mention for their age group (between 4th and 10th place). Effectively, all eight Olathe South participants scored in the top 20 overall. Huge congratulations to the team on another phenomenal performance.
