The boys’ and girls’ track and field teams had another great performance at the Kansas Regionals last Friday. Overall, the girls placed 3rd and the boys placed 2nd. Four school records were broken: The girl’s 400 relay of Jentrie Campbell, Emma Davis, Marisa Sperling, and Jacque Darby set a new school record placing 2nd, the boy’s 400 relay set a new record and placed 1st with Aaron Thacker, Dresden Wilbur, Tanner Green, and Chris Coleman, Tanner Green set a new record in the 400 also placing 1st, and Braden Smith set a new record placing 1st in discus. Together the boys’ and girls’ teams are taking 20 athletes to State this Friday.
