Message from Mrs. Dancso

Dear Web Site Visitors,

Welcome to Central Elementary School- Home of the Cougars! Central is one of 33 elementary schools in the Olathe District Schools. It opened in 1952 and is the oldest school in Olathe.

Central has an enrollment of 285 students with 3 kindergartens, 3 first grades, 3 second grades, 3 third grades, 2 fourth grades, 2 fifth grades and 2 sixth grades. I have been at Central since July of 2004 and look forward to my sixth year as your principal. Our school is comprised of amazing students, wonderful parents and a talented staff. It is a great place to work!

Bienvenido a la Escuela Primaria Central - ¡Casa de los pumas! La Escuela de Central es una de las 33 escuelas primarias en el Distrito Escolar de Olathe. Inició en el año de 1952 y es la escuela más antigua en Olathe.

La Escuela Central tiene una inscripción de 285 estudiantes con 3 salones de kinder, 3 grupos de primero, 3 de segundo, 3 de tercero, 2 de cuarto , 2 quintos y 2 sextos grados. He estado en la Escuela de Central desde julio de 2004 y en espera de mi cincer año como su directora. Nuestra escuela esta constituida de increíbles estudiantes, maravillosos padres de familia y un personal talentoso. ¡Es un maravilloso lugar para trabajar!

Big G Box Tops and Campbells Soup Labels

What an awesome and overwhelming response we received from our Central families so far this year! All profits received will go to our library. This year, every two months the class that collects the most box tops and labels combined will receive an ice cream party!
