School PLUS is a before and after-school program for K-6 students at Central.  Led by Pat Schnegelberger (afternoon Site Coordinator at Central) and Kathy Barnicle (morning Site Coordinator at Central), staff from the school, high school to college-age student volunteers and paid staff, students can receive tutoring, have a snack and participate in a wide range of organized activities.  The program operates from 7-8 a.m. and 3:35-6 p.m., Monday-Friday when school is in session.

The afternoon consists of academic concentration in reading, math and homework completion. Once homework is completed, students are able to attend enrichment classes that they have selected. Examples of enrichment classes that have been offered at Central include but are not limited to: sports, cooking, sewing, photography, and sign language.

A:  Yes, usually it is a healthy food like plain bagels and donuts, carrots and rolls with water or milk.
