The Chisholm Trail community will provide all students a safe learning environment with the opportunity to become confident, responsible and successful life-long learners in the 21st century.

Chisholm Trail's student population is approximately 800 students.

State Report Card

School History
Chisholm Trail Junior High opened in August of 2000.  Located on the southeast boundary of Olathe, Chisholm Trail serves a growing population.

The school mascot is the Wildcat and the school colors are forest green, black and silver.

Chisholm Trail offers a variety of clubs, service organizations, activities and competitions to enhance the junior high experience.  Pep Club, Drama Club, Art Club, Science Olympiad, Mathcounts, KAYS, Computer Club, Lettermen's Club, Student Council, French Club, Spanish Club, Battle of the Books, Author in Residence, Brain Games, Fitness Franatics, Library Activity Council, Word Power, and SPARCS are all activities which appeal to a wide variety of students.

Opportunities for parent involvement include School Site Council, Seniors Serving Schools, Parents Who Care Directory, Parent Volunteers, Wildcat Pride, Active Parenting Classes and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
