WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.

Dear Green Springs Watch D.O.G.S.-

We are off to a great new year with many new faces joining us as we welcome our Kinder Gator Dads.

This year the Olathe School District requires that ALL volunteers fill out a “Volunteers Make A Difference” Form.

Watch Dog Program registration forms were sent home in Friday Folders. Please fill your form out and send back to the school office. Some of you have already volunteered so please be sure and fill out this year’s form and sign it.

For those Dads that have never been a Watchdog Dad You may volunteer one day a month, twice a month, twice a school year, or whatever fits your schedule. A typical day is from 8:00 to 4:00 from which you will help out around the school as well as visit your child’s classroom.

Remember the Watch Dog Program needs you the Dad’s to be successful! So sign up today and get those forms turned in!! The calendar is live so check to see what is available and make your reservation for WatchDog today!
