The Heatherstone Community will prepare and empower all students for the challenges and choices of the 21st Century.

History

Heatherstone Elementary opened in the fall of 1995. Heatherstone Elementary school is a Blue Ribbon - National School of Excellence award winner. Our mascot is the husky. Current enrollment is 600. Olathe, the third largest school district in Kansas, is also the fastest growing district, gaining approximately 700 students per year. Presently there are 34 elementary schools (grades K-6), 8 junior high schools (grades 7-9), 4 senior high schools. (grades 10-12) and 8 speciality schools.
