Indian Creek Report Card

Indian Creek Elementary school qualified as a Blue Ribbon National School of Excellence, in 1991. We continue to excel in academics, having been awarded the Kansas Standard of Excellence Award in reading and math for the 2006-2007 school year.

Indian Creek was built in 1985, and has had two additions since that time. We avarage approximately 400 students each year, kindergarten through 6th grade. Boomer the Bobcat, is our school mascot, dressed in blue and white, our school colors. We are a wonderfully diverse school, with close to 35% of our students who are Black, Hispanic, Asian, Alaskan Native, and Multi-Ethnic.

Indian Creek is a Title One School and we offer full-day kindergarten to our families. Programs we have utilized to target individual needs of our students include Title One reading and math classes, Early Reading Intervention for grades K-2, Extended Day Sessions in reading and math, building-wide "Power of 30" focused instruction, Math Wings and CSI (Cool Science Investigations) for our intermediate students.

Indian Creek is an incredible school, focused on helping each child to recognize and maximize their potential. We simply do whatever it takes to help children be prepared for their future!
