Mission Statement
The mission of Indian Trail is to create an environment where all students reach their highest level of academic excellence, as measured by district, state, and national standards. We commit to a comprehensive network of support to ensure this outcome.
Enrollment Statistics
Indian Trail's student population is approximately 450 students.
School History
Indian Trail Junior High opened in August of 1981. Indian Trail is located on the corner of 151st Street and Ridgeview Road.
The school mascot is the Cougar and the school colors are blue and silver.
Indian Trail offers a variety of clubs, service organizations, activities and competitions to enhance the junior high experience. Cougar Maniacs, Cougar Singers, Culture Net, Drama Club, Foreign Language Club, I-Club, Jazz Band, KAYS, Math Counts, Peer Mediation, Science Olympiad, Silver Stars, Leadership Council, Technology Club, and Yearbook are all activities which appeal to a wide variety of students.
Opportunities for parent involvement include School Site Council, Parent Volunteers, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
