Superintendent Podcast on School Funding Situation In light of the worsening state economy and its impact on school funding, the Olathe School District has created an "information station" on the Web. Go to the district Website at www.olatheschools.com and click on the School Funding Updates button to hear a podcast from Dr. Pat All, read Frequently Asked Questions, view charts of how the district spends its money, and submit questions. The podcasts will be regularly updated as more information is available.
At Meadow Lane Elementary School, the staff members make student improvement a priority. We believe all students can succeed. We celebrate our students' recognition for exceeding the state averages in reading, math and science. In addition, our school continues to be a safe, positive learning environment. We are proud of our parent/guardian involvement. More than 98% percent of our parents/guardians attend parent teacher conferences. Our positive results come from the combined efforts of our excellent staff, super students, and involved, supportive families. What a great combination! Meadow Lane is a great school! Welcome Mr.Lowe!!! ML is pleased to welcome Mr. Brian Lowe as our new Principal. Mr. Lowe has been in the Principal at Brougham Elementary School for the past nine years and is now moving to ML. He has a degree in Elementary Education from the University off Missouri, Kansas City, and a master's degree from the University of Kansas in Education Administration. He is married to Heather and they have four children: Evan (16), Lindsay (14), Lillian (5) and Addison (3). Lillian will be attending ML in the fall. ML wishes him a cheery "hello" as we begin the transition. 2010-2011 ML Yearbooks The ML Yearbook Committee is trying something a little different this year. You will be able to order your yearbook directly from our supplier, Josten's, this year. You can click on the link below to place your order. Summer Computer Fun If the weather gets too hot to play outside or continues to rain, why not try some of these websites for your students.
