Welcome to Olathe East High School!
Olathe East High School provides students with a tremendous education in a safe and caring environment. Not only do our students learn and excel to the highest level academically, they are also quite successful in our performing arts and athletic programs. We are proud that many of our students also provide service to both our school and community. Olathe East High School was recognized as a National School of Excellence in 1998 by the U. S. Department of Education. Our tradition of excellence continues!

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences are:
- Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm
- Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Conferences will be in the Olathe East gymnasium. If you have any questions, please call the school office at 780-7120 or email your child's teachers.
2010-2011 Enrollment
Enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year is now available online. Please visit the following link, https://online.olatheschools.com/preenroll, to enroll for next year. If you have any problems, please contact your school counselor.
Taste of Johnson County
The annual Taste of Johnson County is coming to Olathe East High School, 14545 W. 127th St., Olathe, Kansas. More than 25 local restaurants and caterers will have samples of their favorite menu items, ranging from appetizers to desserts and everything in between. All tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are available online at www.olatheprojectgraduation.com.
AP Test Registration
Registration for the AP tests will be done online this year. Registration starts January 22 and runs through midnight on March 23, no exceptions. Log on to www.olatheeasths.TotalRegistration.net and follow the directions on the website. For additional information click here or see Mrs. Schmale in the counseling office.
H1N1 Vaccination
OE will be administering H1N1 vaccinations to any interested OE student on February 18 & 19. The vaccinations are free of charge. A completed parental consent form needs to be turned in by February 16. You may pick up a consent form along with information about the vaccination in the nurse's office or online at the District website under "H1N1 Clinics". Please call the nurse's office with any questions.
Prom 2010
Prom will be held May 1, 2010 at the Overland Park Convention Center. There has been some confusion about the date. Tickets will be available for purchase in April.
The Women Pay All dance will be held at Olathe East on February 20. Please listen for more information on the announcements.
Olathe East Fashion Show
A fashion show, titled Harmony, will be held March 2 at 7:00 pm in the Olathe East Auditorium. It will have a variety of scenes, clothes, accessories, models and music.
