Welcome to Olathe East High School!
Olathe East High School provides students with a tremendous education in a safe and caring environment. Not only do our students learn and excel to the highest level academically, they are also quite successful in our performing arts and athletic programs. We are proud that many of our students also provide service to both our school and community. Olathe East High School was recognized as a National School of Excellence in 1998 by the U. S. Department of Education. Our tradition of excellence continues!

Looking for a leg up on the ACT? Sign up to take the ACT Prep class here at Olathe East, Saturday, March 27 from 9 am-1:30 pm. Lunch included! Cost is $40. You must sign up and pay in the OE counseling office by the 24th. We must have 22 participants to run this workshop. Please see Mrs Schmale in the counseling office if you have any questions.
Taste of Johnson County
The annual Taste of Johnson County is coming to Olathe East High School, 14545 W. 127th St., Olathe, Kansas on March 27. More than 25 local restaurants and caterers will have samples of their favorite menu items, ranging from appetizers to desserts and everything in between. All tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are available online at www.olatheprojectgraduation.com.
AP Test Registration
Registration for the AP tests will be done online this year. Registration starts January 22 and runs through midnight on March 23, no exceptions. Log on to www.olatheeasths.TotalRegistration.net and follow the directions on the website. For additional information click here or see Mrs. Schmale in the counseling office.
Prom 2010
Prom will be held May 1, 2010 at the Overland Park Convention Center. There has been some confusion about the date. Tickets will be available for purchase in April.
