Goals for the Program:
Drama Club supports the theatre activities at Olathe East. OE recently received the national award from International Thespians for "Outstanding Theatre School"! Meetings are held once per month with activities such as trips to see other plays, theatre lock-ins, community service, plays, musicals, as well as state and national thespian conferences. To be an active member, students must attend a minimum of three meetings per semester and contribute 15 hours for theatre activities.

Goals for the Program:
Technical Theatre crews are responsible for preparing the lights, sound, props, costumes, sets, publicity, and make-up for each theatrical production. This crew also runs and oversees performances, ensuring smooth and professional performances. Hours during a production are long and expectations are high; but, the quality of OEHS shows are rich rewards for all that participate. Technical crew interviews are held directly after auditions for each show. Exact dates and times are posted on the drama bulletin board outside Room 323. Attitude is more important than experience.
