Olathe East Project Graduation

Project Graduation is a committee made up of Senior parents. The group's main purpose is to raise money to sponsor the After Prom and Project Graduation.

After Prom is April 30th and begins at midnight at OEHS. It is free for all Junior and Senior Olathe East students and their dates, whether or not they attend the actual dance. Snack foods and beverages, carnival games, entertainment, and door prizes are just part of the fun planned for the evening.

Project Graduation is May 22th with student check-in beginning around 10:15 pm. Although the event begins and ends at OEHS, students are bused to and from the event site. Students must show a ticket (purchased the last week of school during lunch) and a photo ID to get on the bus. A variety of food and beverages will be provided throughout the night. Activities planned include bowling, card games, miniature golf, laser tag, a raffle and much more. Students will be bused back to OEHS around 3:00 am where they will claim their prizes.

The annual Taste of Johnson County is coming to Olathe East High School, 14545 W. 127th St., Olathe, Kansas. More than 25 local restaurants and caterers will have samples of their favorite menu items, ranging from appetizers to desserts and everything in between.
All tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door.  Tickets are available online at www.olatheprojectgraduation.com.

Volunteers Needed:  The basketball season is upon us and we are seeking volunteers to help at the concession stand during all home games for both men and women!  This is a fun opportunity to help Project Graduation.  Please contact Shelli Andra (s.andra@ix.netcom.com) if you are interested in helping out!
