The Olathe North Theatre Department invites students of all backgrounds to explore the world of performance art. In Acting I you’ll discover hidden talents as you enjoy activities in improvisation, mime, puppetry, storytelling, scene work and playwriting. From there you can move to Acting II where we expand on work from the first class and tour a children’s theatre production. Repertory Theatre is next, where your studies take you to the public stage, possible scholarships, or even fame and fortune!

| Technical Theatre | If you prefer working behind the scenes on things like sound, lighting, makeup or carpentry you may want to enroll in Technical Theatre. Our “techies” are well known and assist in theatrical productions and concerts all over the KC area. |

| International Thespian Troupe 3310 | Olathe North has one of the oldest drama clubs in the area, International Thespian Troupe 3310. This club enjoys great social activities, fundraising for the drama department, participation in state and national conventions and support for local charities. |
| Three Mainstage Productions | During the school year the Theatre Department presents Three Mainstage Productions: one musical in the fall, a winter play and a spring evening of one-act plays. We invite all students who are interested to audition for on-stage or backstage parts. Won’t you join us? |
