Golf Tournament

The Olathe South Project Graduation committee will be host to the 20th Annual Olathe Project Graduation Golf Tournament to be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Heritage Golf Course.  The event is a four person scramble format with an 11:00 registration and a noon shotgun start.  The cost is $100 per player and includes golf, food, drinks and prizes.  The tournament benefits the Project Graduation events at all four high schools.  Corporate sponsorships and prize donations are being accepted as well as individual and team entries.  Registration and sponsorship forms may be found at www.olatheprojectgraduation.com or by calling Jason Steury at 913-609-0782.

Sept 2 Senior Class Panoramic Picture - during ART
 
Seniors place graduation announcement orders at lunch,
11:45 a.m. – 1:10 p.m. in the Commons
 
Last day for Seniors to order graduation announcements,
7:15 – 8:00 a.m. in the Commons
November
Failure Notifications mailed to parents of seniors who are failing required
classes for graduation.
February
Academic Achievement Breakfast for students in grades 10 – 12, 7:00 a.m. in the North Gym.  Invitations will be mailed to parents of students who will be honored.
March
Yearbook Senior Ads due.
April
 
Graduation announcements delivered to seniors during lunch,
11:18 a.m. – 1:24 p.m. in the Commons
 
Graduation announcements delivered to seniors before school,
7:15 – 8:00 a.m.
 
Prom at the Overland Park Convention Center
 
Senior Awards Night, 7:00 p.m., Auditorium
 
Academic Signing Ceremony for Seniors who have accepted an Academic scholarship to a college/university, 10:00 a.m. in the North Gym.  Invitations will be mailed to parents. 
May
 
Senior Finals in Periods 2, 4, 6
 
Senior Finals in Periods 1, 3, 5, 7
All textbooks, equipment, uniforms must be returned to the appropriate teacher/coach/sponsor.
All fines, past due fees, bills are due to Mrs. Hambleton in the  office.
 
Absolute last day to turn in any school work, which is due by 3:00 p.m.  No exceptions.
All make-up final exams given.
Families are contacted of Seniors who will not graduate.
Senior Picnic 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Graduation Rehearsal
8:30 a.m.      Continental Breakfast for Seniors in Commons
9:00 a.m.      Graduation Rehearsal in the North Gym
Conclusion of rehearsal - Caps and Gowns are issued, IF all textbooks, equipment, uniforms have been returned to the appropriate staff member and all bills have been paid.
IMPORTANT:  Receipt of cap and gown DOES NOT guarantee graduation.
Graduation Ceremony at 7:00 p.m., North Commons
Seniors must arrive by 6:00 p.m.
