Important Information Regarding H1N1

OTJH will be hosting a vaccine clinic for the H1N1 virus (formerly called the Swine Flu). The exact date will be announced upon arrival of the vaccine. Students may receive this vaccine, with a signed and completed parental permission form , at no cost. The consent form was distributed at Parent-Teacher conferences. If you did not receive a consent form at Parent-Teacher conference they are also available on the OTJH web site and in the Main Office. This official permission form, signed by a parent or guardian, is required.

Message from the Principal.

OT Site Council:

Are you interested in finding a way to become involved with the OT school improvement plan? The OT Site Council meets six times a year, in the school library, usually at 6pm, for one hour. Here are some details on Site Council to give you a better understanding of our purpose:

The OT Site Council functions as a sounding board and consulting body for our school improvement plan.

  • Review state and district assessment results to discuss the trends and instructional implications; and to give feedback for possible directions to take to improve student achievement.
  • Serve as a sounding board to discuss school improvement issues that impact Oregon Trail.
  • Hear and give feedback to new initiatives that affect Oregon Trail.

The OT Site Council meeting dates for the 09-10 school year are:

  • September 23rd, 6 pm @ OT Library
  • October 27th, 7 pm TBA
  • November 18th, 6 pm @ OT Library
  • January 20th, 6 pm @ OT Library
  • February 23rd, 7 pm TBA
  • March 31st, 6 pm @ OT Library
