Attention Parents...
Are you looking for ways to get involved at PRT?

Parent volunteers are an important part of Prairie Trail Middle School.  There are a variety of activities for which parental involvement is needed. PRT PAWS (Parents Actively Working for Students) is an orgaization helps co-ordinate these activities throughout the year.

If you are wanting to get involved, please fill out the attached sign-up sheet. More information can be obtained by calling the PRT front office at 913.780.7280.

**Please assist your student in being present, on time and well-rested during state assessments. Eating breakfast and being well hydrated will also assist them in doing their best!

It's that time of year when the 2012-2013 6th graders start visiting PRT. We just want to welcome each of you to to the 'Husky Family.' Please take time to familarize yourself with the website. It contains lots of valuable information that will be extremely helpful during this transition period. Attached you will find the 'Special Edition issue of the Howler Newspaper' created especial for our newest Huskies!

 


Daily Schedule

Hour 1: 7:50 a.m. - 8:40 a.m.
Hour 2: 8:45 a.m. - 9:35 a.m.
Hour 3: 9:40 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Hour 4: 10:35 a.m. - 11:25 a.m.
Hour 5: 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Hour 6: 12:50 p.m. - 1:40 p.m.
Hour 7: 1:45 p.m. - 2:35 p.m.
Academic Extension (ICE):
2:40 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.
Academic Extension, or ICE, is a 30-minute period reserved daily for Academic Extensions. ICE stands for Instruction, Collaboration, Enrichment.
This daily ICE time will focus on:
