School History
Prairie Trail Junior High opened in August of 2004.  The school is located on the corner of 107th and Lone Elm.

The school mascot is the Husky and the school colors are navy blue and columbia blue.

Prairie Trail offers a variety of clubs, service organizations, activities and competitions to enhance the junior high experience. ADRES, Creative Writing Club, CIA-MAFIA-FBI, Drama Club, Fashion/Modeling Club, Friend's Cafe, Homework Help, Howlin'Huskies, KAY Club, Letter Club, Library Advisory Council, Model Building Club, MUSH Club, Music Theory, Photography Club, Recycle Club, Service Learners, Sign Language Club, Skateboarding Club, Student Action Council, Yoga, and Youth Services are all activities which appeal to a wide variety of students.

Opportunities for parent involvement include, School Site Council, Parent Volunteers, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
