School History
Prairie Trail Junior High opened in August of 2004. The school is located on the corner of 107th and Lone Elm.
The school mascot is the Husky and the school colors are navy blue and columbia blue.
Prairie Trail offers a variety of clubs, service organizations, activities and competitions to enhance the junior high experience. Spirit Club, Drama Club, Art Club, Science Olympiad, MUSH, KAYS, Creative Writing, Military History, Rocket, Movie Making, Model Building, Friends Cafe, Lettermen's Club, Student Council, Library Activity Council, Service Learners and Problems Solving, are all activities which appeal to a wide variety of students.
Opportunities for parent involvement include, School Site Council, Parent Volunteers, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
