SCIENCE COURSES
Science 6- This course will introduce students to basic chemistr, along with an exploration of earth-space concepts and human body systems. Conducted in a lab setting, this course emphasizes investigative science and activity-based learning.
Science 7- This course will explore life processes and environmental studies. Conducted in a lab setting, this course emphasizes investigative science and activity-based learning.
Science 8- This course explores the science of the dynamic earth and the universe, along with an integration of basic chemistry. Conducted in a lab setting, this course emphasizes investigative science and activity-based learning.
Exciting things happening in the classroom...
In 7th Grade Life Science the students should start collecting insects and leaves for their upcoming Energy Pyramid project. We have not given guidelines or a due date at this time, but the students should collect 10-15 different kinds of insects before the weather patterns change.
